Who is Chandra Bordes?
In 1988, Chandra co-founded San Diego International School and served as school trustee and chief administrator until she resigned in 2001. Chandra now brings to the real estate profession and her company, Mon Château Realty, the work ethics and philosophy she practiced as a school administrator: honesty, diligence, and an emphasis on obtaining the best possible result in the shortest amount of time.
Chandra grew up in the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago and migrated to the United States when she was twenty years old. In 1984, she graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles UCLA and went to the Persian Gulf (Bahrain) where she lived and worked for three years. In 1987, she returned to San Diego where she and her husband, André, co-founded SANDIS.
Chandra is trilingual in French, English and Spanish and wants to help her clients overcome the language barrier in locating, purchasing and financing a home. Having lived and worked in San Diego for the past fifteen years, Chandra is knowledgeable about all areas of San Diego.
For over twelve years parents trusted Chandra to provide the best possible education for their children. Now, she would like residents and out-of-town buyers to trust her in helping them find the best possible home in the best possible location at a price they can afford.
Chandra and André Bordes are the parents of two beautiful bilingual bonnies: 16-year-old Coralie and 5-yr-old Anaïs.
Philosophy
As a real estate agent, Chandra would like to help you buy a home, she does not want to sell you a house. This subtle difference helps her establish a close and attentive rapport with her clients whether they are first-time home buyers or repeat buyers.

Fifteen years ago, Chandra was fortunate to find a real estate agent to help her purchase her first home. Now a successful mortgage broker, the agent focuses solely on repeat customers. His motto is not new: if clients are happy with your service, not only will they return to you, they will also refer their families and friends. Chandra aspires to provide superior quality service before, during and after a purchase or sale so that her clients will return to her over and over and over again.
